I keep jumping on and off the fence about whether or not I would want to know the truth about religion. I feel that the hope that some greater power is above us sparks our will power to do what we do on a day to day basis. I feel that if you remove any doubt from our society, that you remove all of our hope, and remove our individual goals. I feel that our individual goals and what we personally strive for in life should be the engine running the activity of our species, not whether we go to heaven or hell. I'd rather be 'ignorant' and chase my individual goals than be all knowing and chase the same goal that everyone else would be chasing (Heaven).
