Catch 22

The irony of religion is blatant and sad. It promotes peace and prosperity through unity and love and acceptance of other human being and even non humans, yet, other than Buddhism really (as far as I know) every big religion has had a period of time where they kill those that they failed to convert, which means they go against all that their religion is really about. Like in the Kite Runner, Assef kills people because he claims he is doing the work of God, that he stones people because they stone the doors of God. But God says killing is wrong, so isn’t he himself throwing boulders at the doors of God?

I’ve read articles that talk about how most psychopaths and serial killers are actually genius, IQ wise at least, which means that they belong so that small sect of people who can’t function in our normal society. By society creating so many norms, rules, laws, everything that holds us back from being ourselves, we create anguish within us and the more we are held back and the more we repress, the more we want to release out into the world in an animalistic behavior. Imploding, you can call it, is much worse than exploding, because you through your conscious side out the window and bring back the man that kills to survive, and now, you want to kill whatever you can kill because you have so much spite against society and everyone involved in it. It is a catch 22. Period.
