What is our most advantageous advantage, that is the question? Is it our ability to create superstitions and treat them as if they were godlike? Like religion or perhaps is it our ability to create civilizations in order to establish order within the human population. Who knows but religion and civilizations were constructed in order to prevent violence and unrest. Sadly, even after the establishment of religion and civilizations their continues to be mass chaos. Dostoyevsky talked widely about this notion stating that we have progressed as humans but or behavior has not. Meaning we have not changed, we continue to be blood thirsty seeking to kill or torment one another always and that religion/civilizations has not helped at all to stop this. I disagree with Dostoyevsky because I believe that civilization has stopped many humans from killing one another. If there were no control people would kill one another – some for absolutely not reason, others for survival and fun. Many of you would disagree with me because there is much unrest in Mexico, Venezuela and Syria currently with the establishment of civilizations. But if you take a look at it in a global perspective you can see that if there were nothing to prevent us from doing something bad then everyone would go crazy. If you have seen the movie the purge then you know what I am talking about.
