Reaction

Even though humans are considered to be the most superior thing or organism on this very planet, humans have one major flaw according to Dostoyevsky. Humans tend to commit an action even though we know it might cause death. For example, someone smokes even though they know it might lead to cancer. In my opinion, we do this out of independence. We all like to be our own person and live in the moment. If you did not take risks then you would not live at all. I think this chapter has to do with a quote that one of my friends got tattooed on his arm in Hebrew: "When it comes to life, live".
