NFTU Tuesday Post

Today we talked about the fact that all human "facts" are bullshit ideas made up by our dire need, our dire want, to explain everything because the unknown is what we're most afraid of. We come up with a couple facts and find a way to connect one to the other in order to make a conclusion that will satisfy our curiosity and make us contempt with having one less worry in our mind.
When Dostroyevsky talked about how we blame ourselves and create self spite because there is no one else we can possibly blame,  I thought about Adam and Eve. I'm not sure if I am even close to what he was referring to, but I got the idea that when we believe in religion (particularly Christianity), we are born sinners. So as sinners, we have no one to really blame because Adam and Eve didn't know any better, so we blame ourselves for not having anyone to blame in a sense. Our theoretical mind is our biggest weapon, but it also has a self destruct feature which goes off when we create too much doubt in our mind.
