Monday's Post

Today we talked about how human beings are designed to built and created, but to finish their creations is freighting. After watching the Olympics, I started to wonder what the gold medalists do after they win and they are too old to compete. I feel like they work their entire lives to win a gold medal, and then when they do, what’s next. I mean some of them practically accomplish their life goals at 15 years old. I wonder if they built the moment up in their head to be greater then it actually is. Then everything that you do afterwards is a let down. People are always working towards a goal, but its not the goal that their after but the chase. A solid ending, in my opinion though, is just as scary as something going on forever.  With an ending, its kind of like hitting a wall and finding that their no place to go, but continuing on without a goal feels empty and sad. Even the thought of being in heaven for eternity scares me  because then what.
