Tuesday

I see everything completely different now. When I was reading I thought Dostoyevsky was relating the laws of nature and the wall to himself. Meaning that he had a wall in his mind which constricted him to do whatever he pleased and  the laws of nature which I thought was causing him to be  lazy. Unfortunately I was completely wrong. Dostoyevsky was referring to us humans as fools. He says that our ancestors found their answers through god and then we found our answers through god until a rational intelligent man denounces god through science and math. We humans then change or beliefs to science, we are embracing another wall that seemingly sounds more correct. Math, science, and religion are just concepts we created and it won't be long until another man comes and denounces all the new concepts that we believe in. Their is no definitive answer - we create with what we believe in. We create walls (new concepts, facts etc) because if we don't then we go nuts - we need them.
