Thursday Reaction

The discussion today between Bill Nye and Ken Ham was interesting. However, it did not alter my state of mind or change my opinion on the subject. As Emily said in her post, creationism is based on stories from the bible while Darwinism is based on the theory of evolution. No matter what side one supports, there are going to be logical arguments. Nevertheless, i find myself shifting to the arguments presented for evolution. In my opinion they just make more sense. The topics Bill Nye brings up are those basically proven by other scientists, it seems like he has enough evidence to support his claims. While Ken Ham on the other hand, like Mr. Shapiro mentioned, keeps referring to information from his own website. The interesting thing is that Bill Nye even brought that up, he kept talking about creationism ideas as Ken Ham ideas. It seemed as if Ken Ham was just finding any information he could and manipulating it in such a way to make it appear like creationism is real.
