Friday Post

After our class discussion I continued to think about outer space and a never ending atmosphere. I think it is ridiculous and at the same time strange that it is something that we can not imagine in our heads. People can normally picture anything in their minds, even if they have not seen it. We usually make up our own depictions of what something may look like and therefore end up with some imagination of what it may be. It's crazy that we can't find any possible ways of picturing an infinite atmosphere. That just seems to prove how influential limitations are in our life. People tend to fear the unknown, which may be another reason why we can't picture the universe without any limitations. We don't know what truly is out there, and because of that we do not care to find out because it could potentially be something that we might not like, so we choose to embrace these limitations and their restrictions.
