The way Fyodor explained life with limited liberty and choices intrigued me. By describing an insignificant mouse and his feelings of being limited, scared and taking revenge the author could prorate the feelings he has. By being clever and unconscious, meaning he is unable to pick any sides due to his clarity, he is left unable to feel any of those feelings the mouse is able to feel. At a certain point, he is jealous of the mouse and his "beatiful normal life".

Life is full of choices, and at a certain point they are limited to each individual. When one is young most if the time he does not have a choice but to go to school and learn. As everyone goes older, they're choices broaden but are always limited to a certain extent.
