Darkness

If something is classified as bad, yet it gives people enjoyment, is it really bad? Today we talked about drugs and how it can continuously consumes people into a dark mire, but something outside of that darkness had to push them to look for an escape. Yes, drugs ruin peoples lives, but only in the context of what a good life should be in our society. Who knows maybe if we all lived in the forest and did crack we would be a happy and content species. Good and bad are completely in the context of your culture. So who knows what really is good or bad? Maybe thats why he wants to destroy all thats “sublime and beautiful” because who can really say its all sublime and beautiful anyway. In church they talked about how where there’s any bit of light, darkness cannot exist. But then why even when there is something good, you cannot help but thinking of something bad. And when there is something bad, you cannot help but thinking of something worse.  Especially when it comes to your thoughts and the disease of consciousness, I think darkness is the hardest thing to try and tame. (I think I’ll put this in my installment by the way).
