I wasn't in class but I looked up some interesting articles on creationism and evolution. I've found that some of the arguments for creationism were actually intellectual. Obviously I feel like they overlook some glaring evidence but for the most part they seriously supported their faith with logic and "scientific evidence". The article above is an article speaking about the debate they we watched between bill nye and this opponent that is for evolution. It speaks about who the writer thinks is the "winner" in the debate.
