Stupid v.s. Intelligent

The narrator makes a very distinct argument on the differences between a "normal man" and an "intelligent man". It took me a while to recognize on page 6 that a mouse equals a normal man and I had to write out what the exact transition is from a normal man to a mouse. What I got was that; normal man = stupid man = acute consciousness = mouse, so he's basically stating that a normal man is a stupid man, which is the opposite of an intelligent man. I found this to be rather interesting because normal people have a greater proportion in the world as to intelligent people, therefore is he drawing the conclusion that most people in the world are stupid?
On page 12 I actually listed a chart on the bottom of the page and wrote out the differences between the intelligent and the stupid; (as far as what I understood from the narrator). A stupid man finds revenge to be justice since he is such a simpleton that he doesn't understand there is a greater way to achieve justice. He simply carries out his revenge and continues on with his life without complications or frustration. "I said that a man revenges himself because he sees justice in it. Therefore he has found a primary cause, that is, justice. And so he is at rest on all sides, and consequently he carries out his revenge calmly and successfully, being persuaded that he is doing a just and honest thing."

An intelligent man, however, knows that revenge is not justifiable so instead, he turns anger into the solution and starts his attempt to pound at the immovable "wall". When  he realizes he's too weak to break it down, he feels hatred for himself and thinks he is helpless. So in essence, it is better to be a stupid man than an intelligent man.
